Sailing Instructions Released for the IOM World Championship 2026
We’re pleased to confirm that the Sailing Instructions for the IOM World Championship 2026 have now been released.
The Sailing Instructions provide all competitors with the detailed information required for racing at the event, including race procedures, course formats, scoring, penalties and event-specific regulations. They form a key part of the championship documentation and should be read carefully by all competitors ahead of the event.
The 2026 Championship will take place at Datchet Water Sailing Club from 15th to 23rd May 2026, bringing together the world’s leading International One Metre sailors for a week of high-level competition.
What the Sailing Instructions Include
The document covers all aspects of how racing will be conducted, including:
