Equipment Inspection Booking Is Now Open

We’re pleased to announce that the Equipment Inspection booking system is now open for the IOM World Championships 2026. All competitors can book their inspection appointment online ahead of the event.

What Is Equipment Inspection?

Before racing, every boat must be officially inspected by the IOM Measurement Team to confirm it meets class rules. Each appointment takes approximately 20 minutes and covers hull measurements, rig specifications, and sail dimensions.

How to Book

Booking your Equipment Inspection slot is straightforward:

1. Visit the booking page on the event website – Click HERE
2. Choose an available time slot from the calendar grid
3. Enter your details — full name, email, phone number, and Hull Registration Number
4. Upload your boat certificate (optional) — PDF or photo accepted (portrait)
5. Receive confirmation by email with your appointment details

That’s it — you’re booked in.

Key Reminders

• One booking per competitor — each email address and Hull Registration Number can only be used once
• Arrive 5 minutes early at the inspection area with your boat ready
• Bring your certificate if you haven’t uploaded it during booking
• Hull Registration Number format — country code followed by your number (e.g., GBR 1234, USA 567)

Need to Make Changes?

If you need to modify or cancel your booking, please contact the IOM Measurement Team directly by replying to the booking email you received. You cannot change bookings yourself through the system.
